How to get an exact cookbook name from metadata JSON?

Please follow the below steps.

Let's take apache2 for our example.

Step1: Download the cookbook {apache2} from https://supermarket.chef.io/cookbooks/apache2

Step2: Once extracted, you will be able to see a folder with name 'apache2'

Step3: Open the Apache2 folder and look for metadata file.

Note :In some cases, the file may have the extension as .json instead of .rb.

Step4: Right click and open metadata.rb in notepad or notepad++

Step5: Check the value of the name attribute. In this case, it is apache2. This is the name we must specify as the name of the Cookbook.
